Unfortunately, there is little data on comorbidity between PMDD/PME and autoimmune disorders as this is an area that has not yet been well researched.

Some autoimmune conditions may have symptoms similar to PMDD, and some medical conditions can fluctuate in severity or symptom presentation with the menstrual cycle. It is important to carefully track your symptoms on a daily basis to help yourself and your provider make an accurate diagnosis.
