You should talk with your healthcare provider about using SSRIs during pregnancy. SSRIs are generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. However, you should discuss potential risks and benefits with your healthcare provider. That includes not only potential risks of using an SSRI, but also risks of untreated mood symptoms if stopping an SSRI. Your provider may also adjust your SSRI during pregnancy, for example, lowering the dose.
